Last year, in April, I visited New Hampshire for a conference and made friends with so many amazing people. Some of them I’d known online already, through facebook and other social circles but meeting them in person was such a joyful experience that left me craving more time with these wonderful families. In fact, I had visited without my family so mainly I wanted to share the experience with them.
Since then, I had planned our big summer trip to be able to visit with some of the families I’d made friends with. I paid attention to which families my husband would enjoy the most and made a point to include them on our travels, but the summer trip took on a life of its own and I wasn’t able to get out to the east coast at all. No big deal, though, the East coast isn’t going anywhere and now I’m looking at planning a road trip so we can go back next Spring.
One thing that will definitely be on our east coast itinerary is a visit to the coast of Massachusetts, to see Cape Cod. Have you ever checked into the price of Cape Cod vacation rentals? It’s amazing how inexpensive some of them are. I mean, one of them was actually cheaper then where I’m living right now. Imagine that, who would have guessed? I don’t think we’ll spend the entire month there, there are too many places I want to go and people I want to see to confine myself to one location but I love knowing that it’s an option, and I can’t wait to visit again.
